They stepped up to the plate in outstanding fashion and called their Congressman about the Cap & Trade Bill. The call volume was so heavy the congressional switchboard could not handle the volume. Most Congressman reported about 20 votes for "no" to every one for "yes". Obviously the American people do not think this bill is a good idea for the economy. However, it typical Washington fashion, they (Congress) ignored the wishes of the people.

The Obama administration submitted 1209 page document with no time for Congress nor the American people to examine the bill. What ever happen to Obama's promise to post all new bills online 5 days prior to the vote? In classic fashion, the Obama's administration added a 300 page amendment that was describe as a pile of excrement. Unfortunately, no one once again had time to read and examine the full contents of the Waxman-Markey, Cap and Trade Bill. Does this sound like fair and transparent policy making that we were promised? If the Bill is suppose to be so good for America, why the last minute deceptions? Obviously Washington cares little about what the American people wants or thinks.

Now it is time the people to stand up and do their part. Tell your Congressman that if they voted for this destructive Bill that you will do all you can to campaign against them. Make sure they loose in the next election, enough is enough. If they will not represent us in Congress, then we must do our best to remove them from office, the people will not be ignored. I am actually excited about the prospect of our future. I believe this administration has brought the American people out of their ill informed stupor. Please everyone do your part to make your voice heard.

7 Crtical Keys For Success, Step 7

7. Persistence
Maybe I am preaching to the choir, you would have to be pretty persistent to make it this far! I have observed countless people strive so hard to get where they wanted to go then give up inches from their goal. Never let that be you. Never, ever, under no circumstances, no matter what, even consider throwing in the towel. I am not talking about cutting your losses on a bad investment, I am talking about your dreams, your ultimate goals. Stay with something long enough to get good at it, keep on keeping on and you will win. The opposite of success is not failing, it is quitting. Unfortunately we have become a nation of quitters, we need more winners like you!

Conclusions
There is a time for sowing and a time for reaping, they both have a season. Your life today is the residual effect of the things you sowed to this point. Our present life is always a reflection of what decisions we made and what actions we took. This is why I keep encouraging you to keep changing, to keep growing. If your not in the place that you want to be, then you have to, you absolutely must change to get different results. You just can not keep doing the same things and expect different results. I don't know why it took me so long to put this into action. I read it, I was taught it, I understood it intellectually, but I was very slow putting it into action. and it held me back for years. When I finally began to get a handle on this part of my life, everything began to change and I know it will for you. It does not matter which system you use, as long as it works, but the secret is that you must apply it to your life. Make it a daily habit, ingrain it so deep that it automatically happens as part of your life. We reap the rewards of our habits, great habits produce great results, weak habits produce weak results. Lack of self discipline, is one of if not the greatest reason why most people fail. Unfortunately so many people in this country look at self discipline as a negative thing, it is just the opposite. Learn to conquer it, and it is the great liberator. Very simple, learn to master the principles that successful people have and success will find you. True wealth is learning to master life on all levels, so work on the whole picture, the whole self being. The world needs people like you to carry on and help those who are still struggling. I could never be where I am if it was not for a few people who unselfishly reached out their hand and helped me. I only pray that I was able to stir up a little something inside you, thank you for allowing me the opportunity to spend some time and share a little of myself.

David Panarese is a life and business coach. Every highly successful person knows this is the essential piece. Get a cardboard box and stick every positive growth program that you can get your hands on and put it in your car. If you do nothing else do this, get involved in a program and do the steps. I don't care if you this system or another one that works- but you MUST put the program into action. So many people listen to the information but never apply what they learn. You have to understand the way you have been doing things got you where are today. If where you are today is not where you want to be, then you have to change the way you approach things. All highly successful people engage themselves on a continuous growth program. They understand then need for growth, mentors, and coaching. Do you have a mentor, personal coach, or an accountability partner? Find one, it will be one of the greatest things you will ever do for yourself. Listen to programs daily, read positive uplifting books- at least 15 minutes a day, work on the visualizations that we talked about, keep guard that you speak and think positive thoughts. Managing Fear

I don't know of any area that might be more challenging for most of us. Highly successful people are always challenging themselves and operating out of their comfort zones. Your comfort zone got you where you are today, so if you want to expand where your at you will need to expand your comfort zone. When we try to overcome our fears by common sense and logic we usually experience limited success. Anytime the left brain (the logical side) and the right brain (the creative or imaginative side) try battle it out the right brain usually is the victor. How many times can we recall making something so big in our minds that we did anything to avoid approaching it. How about when we finally faced it? Did it turn out much easier than we expected? There is an old adage that says "action cures fear" and it is true. Action does cure fear, and the more you do something the easier and easier it gets. That is fine if we can get ourselves to that point, but that is exactly the problem- how do we get ourselves to take action? Now that question is not so easily answered, and once again I can easily write a book about this one point. Fear has many heads, it shows itself in many forms. See if you recognize any of these- procrastination, avoidance, lack of motivation, laziness, unorganized, perfectionism, not the right time, not enough knowledge, etc. These are all signs of fear, can you identify what you typically do? Anytime we try to expand ourself we increase the interaction between ourselves and others, and as we express our values and beliefs we open the door for others to reject these. So as we grow we are always going to experience feelings outside of our present comfort zone. The first thing one has to accept is that it goes with the territory, learn to embrace it.
So lets try to tackle this issue in way that we can see measurable results without writing a whole book. There are only two natural fears that we are born with, the fear of falling, and the fear of loud noises (there is some debate as to whether these are fears or reflexes). All other fears are learned. As we grew up we learned to associate feelings, emotions, and actions to certain situations. The event in itself does not have meaning we assigned it meaning; when a,b,or c happens we determined that we feel x, y or z. This could be emotional pain, physical pain, or perceived pain. It can come from a personal experience or something we witnessed happen to another person. It all comes down to how we associate the event to the outcome in our minds. We are constantly linking things and events together. We link these events together with pictures, self talk, emotions, sounds and smells. One of the first things is to realize how you associate these events together. For most people the primary method is self talk, or pictures though we are always using a combination to some degree. Self talk can be so powerful that almost everyone I mentor discovers they use this at some level. Many people have a small voice speaking to them all the time and they don't even recognize it on a conscious level. So what we need to do is to rewire our brain and give new meaning(s) to the associations that are holding us back. This is definitely going to take some very quiet time with self reflection and self examination.
Learning to do this is actually quite easy, it is more of just becoming aware of your thoughts- the sounds, pictures, or feelings running through our mind. What is the primary mode that you use? Mine is definitely self talk, but pictures are also very powerful for me. Now think of things that make you uncomfortable, or fearful. Maybe it could be something like cold calling someone on the phone you do not know. When you recreate this in your mind, what is going on? What pictures do you see? What sounds do you hear? What emotions are you experiencing? In what parts of your body? I discovered that when I get nervous I tighten up in my chest and have very shallow breathing. Just focusing on relaxing that spot and breathing deeply helped me a great deal. At first it took a little effort, now when that recognize that feeling, I can say to myself 3, 2, 1 and it is gone. It will become that fast and easy! I started by picturing the phone in my hand while sitting on a beach in a tropical setting. I experienced it to the maximum, I could see the beach, feel the sand between my toes, feel the sun and breeze against my body, hear the sound of children playing, and the lapping of the surf on the beach and embraced the total relaxation I felt. I used self talk to congratulate myself on taking action, using positive affirmations. I then did the opposite- I pictured all the pain I could think with not making the call. I pictured myself working to I was old, fat, tired, hopeless, and alone. Pain and pleasure are the two greatest motivators we have, use both to your advantage. I do this when I am using steps 3 & 4, this is why putting up pictures and sayings are important. When I use my quiet time in the morning going over what I must accomplish for the day is when I use the exercise of closing my eyes and creating positive pictures, emotions, and self talk. I imagine just how I want that particular event to go, and see it with a positive outcome. I then do this for all my important daily events, weekly events, and life purpose. This will take less time than you expect and you will be empowered to take on the day and its challenges. I also do this just before I take action on the event. Doing this daily will lay the foundation for your subconscious mind to attract the outcomes you desire, and help you overcome your greatest fears.
1. Learn to become aware of your thoughts, feelings, emotions, self talk, etc.2. Identify the areas that cause you the greatest tension, fear, anxiety3. Identify what your primary mode for handling fear, like perfectionism, lack of motivation, etc4. Get pictures, quotes and anything that has meaning hanging up where you see it everyday5. Spend some of the quiet time in step 4, going through your daily challenges6. Now attach positive images, sounds, pictures, emotions to the event (see a positive outcome)7. Attach negative images, sounds, pictures, emotions if you don't take action8. Do this for your main daily goals, weekly goals, and your ultimate lifestyle
Bottom line is this-YOUR DREAMS AND GOALS HAVE TO BE BIGGER THAN YOUR fears. Which ever one you feed the most will drive you; do you want to be driven by your fears or your dreams? Remember doing what you have always done will give you what you have always had. Doing the work will pay dividends!

David Panarese is a life and business coach. He spends most of his time mentoring individuals and small groups. Preparation and Focus

I am becoming more and more convinced that this is one of the biggest reasons why most people never experience that breakthrough experience they so desperately seek. Generally speaking people do not understanding that it is the little daily success tasks that set winners apart. I know this personally- this is one of the last steps that I was able to overcome (of course there are always areas that we all are working to improve on). Something inside kept telling me that it was not that important, and that I will get around to it. It literally took me years to grasp the importance of this, and it held me back for a long long time. I have witnessed so many people who wanted to move forward in life, but they were just unable break out of their routine and get focused on what really counted. Don't misunderstand me, I am not saying money is everything, but being broke isn't so cool either. I simply got tired of the lack of money being the root of so many life decisions. If you can grasp the truth of this quote to the core level, it will change your life: "If you do what you have always done, you will always have what you always had" (author unknown). You are where you are in life due to the decisions and actions you take on a daily basis. Your thoughts, speech and actions, all affect this, consciously and unconsciously. If you can't change or you are unwilling to change then don't expect different results. If you want different results you MUST take different actions. If you think you don't need to do this, then ask yourself this; why does every success seminar, book, CD, program or whatever teach it? Why does every success coach or person incorporate this into their life each and every day? Successful people are highly organized and very disciplined to plan out their strategies daily. Accomplishing success to a high level in anything takes mastering the basics. Preparation and focus are some of the core foundational basics to success- so much so you will not succeed without it!
So set your day up to succeed from the beginning. Can you possibly get up an hour early? Alright I heard that, how about half hour? How about 15 minutes in the morning and 15 minutes at night? Here is a daily routine that I use that sets me up to win every day. Put your shoes by your bed so you literally step out of bed into your shoes. At least 20 minutes exercise, go for walk, run, ride, swim or whatever. Listen to upbeat music to get you going. Spend 15 minutes on something spiritual, whatever you believe. You can read the bible, meditate, or pray. You can also multi task and do this while you exercise! I then spend 15 minutes on going over the steps in this program. I read my purpose statement every day, read many of the quotes and sayings that I have hanging up, and I spend time visualizing my dreams and goals. Make your visualizations as real as possible with sounds, smells and pictures and try to visualize them in the present tense. Then I spend 15 minutes going over the main goals of the day, and the things I have to do. Make sure you are scheduling time every day for the things that will bring you closer to the success you seek. So many of us fill our days with things that do not really matter, then if we have time later we plan to work on the things that will bring us what we truly seek. We both know that time rarely happens, and most people find themselves in the same spot or worse off 5 years later. Now visualize how you want your daily goals to go. If you get into this habit you will find you become very excited about this time for yourself, and that it sets up your day for success in a dynamic powerful way. Get excited, get enthusiastic and go have some fun! Develop A Mental MAP
This in many respects in similar to the next step; actually many people ask me why I put this before step 4. This could easily follow the preparation and focus step, but I like to work from an end result back-wards. This will become clearer as you read on. Nothing happens, nothing changes until we put our success plan into action. As simple as this is I have watched countless people get stuck right here. It is so easy to let our daily routine interfere with our plans to have a breakout year. So we are going to do something that I am sure your not going to like when I say it. That's right-goal setting! Done wrong they can be a hindrance, done right it can be fun and motivating. Just a little note, all and I mean all successful people are goal oriented. If you feel like you don't need to set goals then why do all successful people do it?
When you put a goal into your brain (especially when you review it daily) your subconscious mind will work unceasingly to bring this to a reality. Now I could write a book here, and many people have, so I will try to KISS it- you know keep it simple and stupid. First keep your goals somewhat achievable, shoot for the sky but be a little real (like maybe making a billion dollars in the next 10 days is a little unreal)? Write out your goals in detail, as much detail as you can picture. If you want a house- describe it in every way. Size, color, location, square footage, design, furniture, the paint, the appliances etc. Make your goals measurable, so anyone can measure the result. If you want to loose weight, don't say I want to loose 30 pounds in 90 days. Instead state the exact weight you want to be on the exact date you want it. For example, I want to weigh 140 lbs. by June 1st, 2008. Always write your goals in a fashion that you are in the process of becoming, in the present tense as much as possible. For example, I am excited that I am in the process of loosing 30 lbs and will weigh 140 lbs by June 1st. Now write a life goal, a 5 year goal, a one year goal, a 6 month goal, a 3 month goal, a one month goal, a one week goal, and a daily goal. Now let us make a life MAP, a Motivational Action Program. To Motivate us we need reasons why we want to accomplish a goal. To loose 30 lbs. is not the why, it is the what. What will loosing 30 lbs. do for you? How will you feel? What will it help you accomplish? Having good reasons will help motivate us during the hard times. Next write down all the Actions that you could possibily take to help you reach your goals. Write down as many different actions that you can think of. Having options provides hope and supports our motivation. Finally, write down the Program you are going to take. This is the planning part, which action(s) I will take, how often, how long, etc. This is even more powerful if you plan rewards at different levels along the way. A good example might be, when I loose 10 lbs. I will buy some new clothes. Create goals for each of the following ares; body (physical), mind (self improvement), spirit(whatever your beliefs are), relationships, and financial. To attract the things you want in life, strive to have as much balance in all parts of life as possible. There are areas that you will be satisfied with and areas that you are always working to improve. I use a chart like the one below and I highly suggest that you rewrite your entire list every 3- 6 months. Click link to see a completed goals chart. Chart

Now let us put this MAP into motion. Set up one day a week, I use Sunday evenings, to do this. Take at least 20 minutes and lock your self away. I mean away, away from kids, pets, phones- everything and everybody. Review your entire goal lists, and visualize the emotions, the pictures, the sounds and smells that the accomplishment of each of these goals will bring you. Make it as real as possible, you will come to thoroughly cherish this time. Take your daily and weekly goals and schedule it, actually write it down on a calendar or planner. For example, if I want to loose weight I would schedule in my exercise time each day, and maybe even a time to cook some healthy lunches to take to work with me. It doesn't become real until you schedule it, until then it is just a good idea. Now review your goals from last week to see if your on schedule, ahead or behind. Make adjustments, don't judge and move on. Your daily goals will keep you on track for your weekly goals, which will keep you on track for your monthly goals and so on. Plan on reading and visualizing your short term goals (one year or less) at least twice a day. Following this plan will give you motivation and excitement to keep on the track to success. The biggest thing it will give you is results; small daily steps add up to enormous results over time. Stay in action, and stay focused. Step 4 will show you how to do this on a daily basis.

David Panarese is a life and busienss coach. He spends most of his time mentoring individuals and small groups. This is not your life's vision, these are things like your dreams, desires, and ultimate lifestyle. What are they and why are they important to you? These are some of the goodies, some of the material stuff. All successful people know what turns them on, and they know how to reward themselves for their efforts. Things like homes, cars, boats, places to travel, or things to do. One of my biggest driving forces is my son. I wanted so bad to be home on a full time basis raising him, teaching him, and playing with him. I also wanted control of my life, I wanted to make my own calls, do the things I wanted to do, when I wanted to do them. I hated with a passion to punch a time card, it tore me up inside. So write down at least 5 things that will add fuel to the fire; things that will drive you when you hit that bump in the road. These can be positive goodies, or negative things you want to avoid. Best to have a combination of both, and next to each one, write down the reason why. For the final step began to cut out pictures of the things you want to put them up everywhere! The walls of my office are covered with pictures, sayings, and reminders. Create a big why, so big that nothing will stand in your way. Review this EVERY single day, best in the morining to set up your day for success!

David Panarese is a life and busienss coach. Are you in the same old place? Are you looking to have a break out year? I was absolutely shocked when I learned that less than 10% of the people who buy a book or buy a cd seminar ever go past the first chapter or cd. I always eagerly attacked the material, but I was often very guilty of not applying all the skills taught or doing all the exercises. Then one day while listening to my mentor talking, I finally got it! Like a bolt of lightning it struck me and changed my life forever. There are a number of common characteristics or skills that all successful people share. It is not some successful people, some of the key skills, some of the time. It is all successful people , apply all of the key skills, all the time. Success is not a one time thing- it is a life style, a way of life. I highly recommend you read this article- "Is This One Overlooked Secret Holding You Back?" No matter how I tried I could not condense this list any smaller. It could easily be twice as large, but these are the 7 critical areas that you must learn to master for ANY self improvement or success program to work.

1. Life Vision / Purpose
All successful people have an absolute clear vision for their life. An overriding purpose, a destiny or passion that drives them. Without a "purpose" or a "why" your action plans and goals will not bring you the joy you seek. Do you want to spend lots of energy and time to reach a goal to find out that you climbed the wrong building? You want your life's work to be your life's joy- right? Look at it this way, without a purpose, life is like playing darts with a blind fold on. Pretty hard to hit the target if you don't know what your shooting for. You were put on this earth with a purpose to fulfill, find it and you will find joy, passion, drive, enthusiasm and energy. So what makes your heart sing? What is it that you can really get so absorbed in that time seems to melt away? Something, no matter how tired you are, you always seem to have energy for?
Start by spending some quiet time examining the things you love to do. Write down 2-3 qualities that are unique to you personally (for example you may be very supportive or enthusiastic). Now write down as many ways you can think of that you enjoy expressing these qualities. Maybe you enjoy uplifting, supporting, and encouraging people; or maybe you enjoy bring smiles to people's faces by being fun, outgoing, and a joy to be around. Now write a a vision statement combining these statements together, and write it in the present tense. Here is my purpose statement "My purpose is to support, uplift, and mentor people. To assist others in breaking free of the burdens in life that hold them back, and help them affect others in the same way. To live my life in such a way that the purpose of my life far outlives my life. Simply to make the world a better place." I read this every morning to start my day, and review it every night to see if I achieved it.

See our website for information on some the worlds best Sports & Fitness Nutrition Products

Qigong- Changing The Way We Look At Healthcare

Imagine being able to heal yourself and others. That is exactly what is happening with an ancient healing art called Qigong. Finding its roots five thousand years ago in Chinese medicine and the marital arts, Qigong is becoming famous for promoting health. Qigong, or Chi Kung, is a healing art that involves a combination of flowing physical poses and controlled breathing patterns. It is often referred to as a moving meditation that is greatly enhanced with visualization techniques. In Chinese, Qi (Chi) means "life energy" or "breath", and gong means "discipline" or "cultivation." So Qigong is the art of breath work and the cultivation of vital energy. Not only is it very simple and easy to follow, but also it has tremendous health benefits.

Everything is comprised of Qi including all matter right down to the atom and molecule. Qi is referred to as the natural energy of the universe which enables us to do all things. According to the Chinese healing model, health is optimized when the body's Qi is freely flowing. Qi flows best when we are eating a healthy diet and keeping properly hydrated. When it is not freely flowing, it becomes blocked, and we begin to experience pain, disease and other physical problems. A Qigong healer is able to detect where the Qi of a patient is stagnant and out of balance. Without touching the patient, the healer uses his hands to pass Qi directly into the patient releasing the blocked energy. It is this flowing balanced life energy that allows the body to heal itself. With increasing popularity and acceptance in the West, we are now beginning to experience Qigong's amazing healing properties. Research is filled with its great health benefits, including:

Improving joint mobility

Increasing range of motion

Freeing Qi energy to energize the body

Greater circulation

Reduce stress

Stimulate the lymph system

Strengthens the immune system

Helps with weight control

Helps with arthritis

Increases metabolism

Establishes balance

Inner peace

Increases oxygenation to the tissue

Helps digestion

It is easy to see from this short list how the body can benefit greatly from Qigong. However, what is really amazing are the stories of healing miracles people received with Qigong. Here are some of them:

Bleeding brain stem

Migraines

Lung disease

Fibrocystic breast disease

Terminal bone cancer

Immune disease

Heart palpitations

Weight loss

High blood pressure

Arthritis

Blocked arteries

Since 1989, medical Qigong has been the official standard technique practiced in Chinese hospitals, and it is part of their National Health Plan. However, that does little to stop the ongoing controversy in Western medicine where most medical practitioners point toward the lack of scientific research. As the cost of Western medicine spirals out of control, people searching for answers are flocking to alternative health care. Naturally, always consult with your medical professional before trying anything new, and don't abandon your present treatment schedule. You will find Qigong is a great compliment to whatever treatment you are presently receiving. For healing to be complete it must be balanced in all areas (spiritually, emotionally, energetically and physically). Qigong fits the bill in all respects. It is filled with great benefits on all levels: it is fun to do; it is low in cost; it is complimentary to Western medicine and it is a great preventive exercise. Give it a try, maybe it will be your miracle that we read next.

David Panarese is the creator of http://www.letenergyheal.com/ an energy healing website. With so much controversy surrounding this topic there are some guidelines that can help us decide. Your water consumption depends on many factors, including your health, height, weight, age, how active you are and where you live, and time of year. Consider that the average urine for adults is around 1.5 liters per day and another liter is easy lost through our daily routine, so we must find ways to replace a minimum of 2 liters daily. About twenty percent of our fluid needs can be replaced by food, if we are not consuming diuretics such as soda, coffee, and alcohol. Therefore one must conclude that an average person should be drinking more than 8 cups per day. Many researchers actually suggest around 3 liters for men and slightly more than 2 liters for women. Stick to drinking water it is far better that trying to substitute alternative fluids. I find that most people actually do not consume this much, and the ones who do complain about going to the bathroom all night. So read on there is a solution! But what's the big deal about adequate hydration anyways?

Our bodies consist of about two thirds water and it is the vital component for all chemical reactions of the body. Think about it, we can survive for long periods of time without food, but only a few days without water. Adequate intake of pure water may not be a cure all but it is the main source in preventing many common aliments. It is the critical element in helping the body prevent and correct itself of imbalances. The body functions at its absolute peak with adequate hydration, and is a key ingredient to good health. Since food contains water we often mistake being hungry when we are actually thirsty. Proper hydration will reset our bodies to help eliminate this problem and help us loose weight in the process. As we age we have an increasing challenge as the brain mechanism that controls thirst begins to be distorted and we don't recognize our need for water soon enough. This of course leads to or exasperates other problems. Even a small drop in hydration, about two percent, can affect our bodies in many ways. It can cause short term memory loss, affect our concentration, drop in energy, cause headaches, muscle weakness, muscle aches, dizziness, confusion- which affects our reasoning ability, mental cloudiness, and digestion just to mention a few. However, drinking too much water is possible but rare especially with the average diet consumed in North America. The information here is meant as a guideline- always check with your health care provider to attain the best suitable results.

So how can we be sure to have proper hydration and what are some of its benefits? The two most common complaints that I hear often are: I try but can't seem to drink that much fluid in a day, and if I drink that much fluid I am up going to the bathroom all night. This seems to be an opposing dichotomy, but there is an answer. Buy pure drinking water that is micro-structured for optimal hydration. It is changed at the molecular level so your body absorbs much higher levels of the water consumed. You can purchase machines to do this, but I find most people will not bother to do this. I purchase a product online that is approximately three times more hydrating that regular water and is perfectly safe. It is also high in alkaline to offset the bad affects of a high acid diet commonly found in America and has electrolytes to replenish your body. It can be found at clickandgomall.com. Drinking water that is micro-structured for optimal hydration helps me get the proper levels of hydration without forcing down 8-10 cups of water and I don't spend the night in the bathroom. It is a great alternative! If you are not convinced yet, take a look at some of the benefits you receive from keeping your body properly hydrated.

Can cut the risk of certain types of cancer

Improves mental clarity

Improves digestion

Improves energy levels by reducing fatigue

Relieves back and joint Pain?

Help prevent and relieve headaches

The natural aging process is slowed

Tightens skin, helps with bagging and wrinkles

Improves skin texture- smoothness

Hypertension

Arthritis

Weight control

Helps with morning sickness

Helps with Asthma

Can increase flexibility

Can improve our physical strength

Feel better and look younger

Will help your golf game- maybe!
